2011-2016 Ford Super Duty Seat Cover FAQ

Because every decision we make is for pickup trucks — the materials, the patterns, the process, the finish. We don't try to cover every vehicle on the road, so you don't get a generic fit or a diluted material lineup. You get a heavy-duty product with a heavy-duty promise: truck-rated seat covers patterned to your exact seats, proven over millions of miles, backed by our Craftsman Guarantee — straight from us in Logan, Utah.

Yes — that's the whole point. Tell us what you drive and we'll make sure it fits. Enter your year, make, and model, and the vehicle selector confirms your exact configuration and seat options — you'll only see options that fit. Then every order runs through our Fitment Triple-Check: we confirm the fit against photos of your actual seats before we cut, and inspect every set before it ships — all backed by our Craftsman Guarantee. Not sure which to pick? Email pictures to support@vertexbuilt.com (fastest) or call us at (435) 774-9300 — and we'll handle the fitment confirmation for you.

We don't pull covers off a shelf. Each order is made on demand. We send it into production to be cut and sewn for your exact truck — your year, cab, and seat configuration — in the material of your choice. Once complete and inspected, you'll get a notification that it has been shipped out to you by UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

No. The covers install right over your existing seats and upholstery — you don't remove the seat from the truck, and you shouldn't remove your factory upholstery. They're made to cover over and preserve it. Most trucks need no tools at all. A Vertex tuck-tool comes in the box — it helps tuck the edges cleanly into the seat trim and pass the straps and paracord through the seats. Not a requirement, but helpful. Some seat styles — like the 40/20/40 front bench — call for a screwdriver to back out a couple of small console screws so the cover edges tuck under the trim for a factory finish. Plan about an hour per row, or one to two hours for the front and back together. Best advice: take your time and do it right the first time — and reach out if you want a hand.

Every set ships complete for your configuration — seat covers, headrests, map pockets, middle seat covers, and all installation hardware, plus console covers, where applicable. Pre-cut for headrest posts, seat belts, child car-seat anchors, and seat controls. Ready to install — nothing missing.

Yes. Heat transfers through the seat cover materials and reaches you the same way. Your heated seats may take slightly longer to warm up, but the element operates normally and you still get the full effect. No wiring, no modification needed.

The ventilation still runs, but our materials have a sealed inner layer that doesn't let air pass through, so you won't feel the airflow. None of our materials are perforated — perforation breaks down over time and lets dust, debris, and spills reach the seat, so we don't do it.

Yes. Every set is sewn with SRS Airbag Safety-Thread™ along the seams on the airbag side of the seat — a concealed, lightweight red thread, designed to hold under normal use and break away under force. Do not modify the airbag seam. Seat covers are installed and used at the owner's discretion.

Truck owners who use their truck, like a truck — for work, the weekend, and everything between. Better raw materials, designs, and craftsmanship make a better finished product — so we use select truck-rated components and precision craftsmanship to make seat covers that both upgrade and protect your seats, for wherever the road ahead takes you.

Every set of Vertex Built™ seat covers is backed by our Craftsman Guarantee, which covers three things: Craftsmanship — if the texture, stitching, or build isn't right when you open the box, we make it right. All Vertex seat covers are also Guaranteed to Fit — if it doesn't fit your truck, we repair or replace it, under our discretion. And we include a Lifetime Warranty on construction — seams, binding, buckles, and stitching against premature failure for as long as you own the truck. It covers construction, not daily wear — cuts, burns, chemicals, pet damage, accidents, abuse, and improper install aren't covered. Original purchaser only. Replacement panels are available to purchase if you ever need one.

We only supply seat covers for the trucks listed in our selector. We don't make seat covers for every vehicle — and we can't sell you something that isn't built for your truck. If your make, model or year isn't on the list, then it isn't available yet. Tell us what you drive on our Can't Find My Truck page and we'll send you a note the day we add it.

About This Fitment

Custom-Fit Seat Covers for the 2011-2016 Ford Super Duty

"Custom-fit" gets claimed a lot. Vertex keeps its own standard for what it means on your Ford Super Duty seats. Every set is patterned from the original seat geometry of the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, 3rd gen Super Duty — so your seat covers are made to account for your exact cab, trim, and seat style. They're cut for the Regular Cab, SuperCab, and Crew Cab; XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum; across the F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550, in bench or bucket seats, with the back row covered top and bottom.

You want your truck to look right and be ready to go — at all times. A sharp interior is part of how you enjoy your truck — whether it's a workhorse five days a week or the rig that drags the camper to the lake on the weekend. The right seat covers upgrade and protect your seats and your peace of mind, so you can use it like a truck and hold its resale value at the same time. Now you can put it to work, hook up and tow, head out hunting, or let the dog ride shotgun — without a second thought about the seats.

That's what Vertex is built to deliver: pickup truck seat covers that look and function like your original seats — so you get a visual upgrade, and full seat coverage that's comfortable to ride on every day. They get you past the otherwise-regrettable moments with a lot less swear words, and when it's time to sell, they peel off clean for a like-new interior.

We confirm your order against photos of your actual seats — so it fits the truck in your driveway and goes on right the first time. The #550 Paracord Seat-Cinch™, GripLock™ buckles, and the Vertex fastening system anchor it all down and hold it through hard daily use — nothing crawls, bunches, or needs straightening. Do it right once and you're done thinking about it.

We believe the best raw materials make the best finished product, so every material we offer is truck-rated and spec'd to hold up for the long haul. And we back the build with our Craftsman Guarantee for as long as you own the truck: if something's not right, we repair or replace it. Your Super Duty earns its keep — outfit it with covers that pull their weight too. These won't let you down — we guarantee it.
