This is possibly the third online product review I've ever posted, but I'm happy to spread the good word on these Vertex Cordura covers. I didn't know anything about this company or the quality of its products, having only come across the website following a random blogger's advice. I was skeptical and a bit concerned about the price, but I know the Cordura brand very well and when I saw Vertex used it for its covers I decided to pull the trigger...but only for the front seats of my truck...just to try them out. I don't baby my truck; me and my friends use it to go caving, diving, trekking, camping, and lot of other mud/water-heavy activities. The truck is also my daily driver, the friends/family moving truck, and the vet transport for my 75-lb dogs who like to ride inside the cab.
Nearly four years later, there isn't a single thread out of place on the front seat covers I bought from Vertex in 2022. I mean that literally; I checked before posting this. I decided it was time to buy the matching back row set. They look as rock solid as the front seat covers I purchased four years ago. It's great to see the consistency in manufacturing quality. Black usually is also quick to fade, especially with repeat sun exposure (I live in the 18th parallel...plenty of direct sunlight year-round), but I just compared the old with the new cloth and the only difference is the new-cloth smell.
I only just installed the back seat row covers, but I suspect the experience won't drift too far from the front seat covers'. If that changes, I'll come back and update the review. I don't expect that to happen any time soon, though.

The make of the product is exceptional. The material seems quality, stitching is nice and they are very nice to sit on.
While the front seats are really nice, I would have never bought the rear seats had I had the opportunity to see them in person. The fit isn't great and if you are into details, just doesn't look very good. I'm not sure this is the makers fault because to get something that fits, mounts with the limited ways to do it, and looks great, I'm not sure how that would be possible.
I can definitely recommend getting the fronts but I wouldn't again spend money on the rears and would do something else since I have a dog cover back there anyway.
These seat covers are perfect. They fit tight and tuck nicely under the seat plastics to give it the OEM look.

The quality of the covers are very nice and of excellent quality. The fit is very meticulously crafted. The installation took a little time but I understand, because of the snug tight fit. I look forward to see how the seats hold up as I use my truck as a farm work truck..
I purchased these seat covers during their black Friday sale. Lead time took quite a while for them to come in but I was informed of this before I placed the order so absolutely no fault against the company for that. And they were definitely worth the wait! I've installed a few different seat covers on different vehicles over the years and these were definitely the best fitting ones I've seen. They do take some time to install so plan on that but once theyre on they truly do fit like a factory seat and the look and feel amazing. Definitely would recommend these to anyone looking for rugged seat covers for their vehicle.
Great experience. These things were made custom alright. They were a little too tight at times to get on. Once I got to the back seats, I ended up putting them in a pillow case in the dryer to help make them more pliable. That seemed to do the trick. I have to redo one that originally did in the back seat because I couldn’t get the Velcro to connect to each other. But they look great, like factory. The heat warmers still work perfectly through the covers.
We purchased these as a gift for our son-in-law for Christmas. He knew they wouldn’t be here by Christmas, but he said they were worth the wait. They look great in his truck and a perfect fit. He said he is very pleased and would definitely order from this company again.
They installed easily and look like factory seats. Very heavy duty and comfortable! I would highly recommend these if you’re looking for something that looks like an original seat cushion.

We don't pull covers off a shelf. Each order is made on demand. We send it into production to be cut and sewn for your exact truck — your year, cab, and seat configuration — in the material of your choice. Once complete and inspected, you'll get a notification that it has been shipped out to you by UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
No. The covers install right over your existing seats and upholstery — you don't remove the seat from the truck, and you shouldn't remove your factory upholstery. They're made to cover over and preserve it. Most trucks need no tools at all. A Vertex tuck-tool comes in the box — it helps tuck the edges cleanly into the seat trim and pass the straps and paracord through the seats. Not a requirement, but helpful. Some seat styles — like the 40/20/40 front bench — call for a screwdriver to back out a couple of small console screws so the cover edges tuck under the trim for a factory finish. Plan about an hour per row, or one to two hours for the front and back together. Best advice: take your time and do it right the first time — and reach out if you want a hand.

Yes. Heat transfers through the seat cover materials and reaches you the same way. Your heated seats may take slightly longer to warm up, but the element operates normally and you still get the full effect. No wiring, no modification needed.
The ventilation still runs, but our materials have a sealed inner layer that doesn't let air pass through, so you won't feel the airflow. None of our materials are perforated — perforation breaks down over time and lets dust, debris, and spills reach the seat, so we don't do it.
Yes. Every set is sewn with SRS Airbag Safety-Thread™ along the seams on the airbag side of the seat — a concealed, lightweight red thread, designed to hold under normal use and break away under force. Do not modify the airbag seam. Seat covers are installed and used at the owner's discretion.
